Hi I’m Jay and I am a recruitment consultant within the primary care division at Prospect Health.

I look after GP recruitment covering the East Scotland, The North East, East Riding and Humber as well as North and South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Having previously worked as a teacher before educational recruitment, I have now joined Prospect Health where am very fortunate to work with a great team of consultants within the GP division.

In my time here I hope to help many GPs who are either fresh out of training or experienced, find their perfect role. I aim to develop strong relationships with many Practice Managers and Partners, and help them find new GPs for their practices where they may have struggled with traditional advertising. I find working in recruitment incredibly rewarding, especially knowing you have helped someone to secure a new role which offers a genuine improvement to their working conditions. I gain the same satisfaction in helping clients recruit staff and therefore solving their staffing problems.

Away from work I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters usually at the stables, as well as playing football and cricket whenever possible. I enjoy going on holidays both abroad and in the UK where I am a frequent visitor to Scotland.
