ECC Veterinary Surgeon requirements for this job in Singapore

  • At least 1-2 years’ clinical experience preferred
  • Previous ECC/rotational internship experience will be highly regarded, but not essential as training will be provided
  • Willingness to learn, strong work ethics and be a team-player
  • Compassionate and willing to put patient care first
  • Brilliant client communication
  • Possess a veterinary degree/ qualifications registrable with the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA)

What’s on Offer:

  • Salary: SGD 8,500 to 10,000 monthly, based on experience.
  • Constructive input from your specialist colleagues, most of whom are from teaching backgrounds so are keen to teach
  • A dynamic and supportive team environment
  • Support for continuous education and special interests
  • Rotate between days and nights every 2-3 months.
  • Current shifts: 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am.
  • Post-probation, transport covered via company ride-hailing platform to and from shifts. 
  • 6 shifts per fortnight (3 per week). 
  • Weekend and public holiday work required; holidays paid at 2x the daily rate per shift. 

The Package

We are offering well above UK market rates when it comes to compensation. Most UK Vets earn between £45K – £60K. Our salary ranges up to £70 K UK equivalent, depending on experience and skills, 10% tax. Includes accommodation and travel allowances. 

Remember Singapore offers is a low tax regime, so on a £70K salary with a 10% tax rate, your net income would be £63K,  more in your pocket at the end of the month compared to the UK. 

Whilst the cost of living is relatively high comparable to some of the more northerly parts of the UK, it is now at relative parity to London and the Southeast
