Registered Veterinary Nurse Role, Reading

Exceptional opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a brand new independent, small animal, state-of-the-art, first opinion veterinary practice in Reading a fantastic location with excellent transport links, reaching London in only 30 minutes.

Recently established in 2021, this Small Animal, family owned, Independent Veterinary Practice have exciting future plans of growth opening up phenomenal opportunities for the future.
They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their recently opened practice in Reading.

This position would see you working alongside a friendly and supportive team of Veterinary Nurses and Surgeons.

Consisting of 3 practices currently their future plans are to more than triple this amount. The premises is extremely modern and spacious and their pet health care is second to none. Lovely supportive management team, team well-being being of high importance to them.

The potential to offer a more lead Veterinary Nurse position is also available with new opportunities opening up.

This position is fantastic for future opportunities their scope for the future is huge.

Some of their exceptional facilities include:

  • Digital X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Dental X-ray
  • Full in house laboratory
  • 4 consult rooms.

The role is for a full time Veterinary Nurse, 40 hours per week.
The shifts would consist of a week of early shifts, 8:30 - 3pm followed by a week of late shifts 11 - 7pm.
No out of hours to support a fantastic work life balance.
Weekends are Saturdays only 8-1pm on a 1:2 basis, this will improve.

Package and Benefits

  • Generous salary ranging from £25,000 - £28,000 per year

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Be able to work well within a team.
