Lead Veterinary Surgeon Role, Cambridge

An exceptional role to become a Lead Vet Surgeon in one of Cambridge's most respect veterinary hospital.
Our client is looking for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to take a leading role in their superb hospital in Cambridgeshire. You will be joining a progressive, forward thinking team where you will be expected to lead from the outset and provide high levels of clinical care to your patients, as well as mentor and support your vet team.

The role is a full time, 42 hour week split across four days. The role comes with no OOH, although for three weeks of the year you will be expected to be the second on-call for emergency events only. You will be given financial compensation for any call outs, along with time back in lieu. You will also be asked to work weekends on a shared-rota basis with you fellow vets.

In return, you will receive a handsome benefits package, which includes a £60,000 minimum salary. There is also an excellent benefits package, which includes a bonus scheme, 34 days holiday in total and professional fees such as RCVS and VDS fees covered. CPD allowance is also included, with funding for certificates and leadership courses available.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, you must be RCVS registered and have at least 5 years' experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
