Veterinary Nurse

A leading veterinary practice in Runcorn is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

The role involves creating and maintaining top standards of nursing care and professional performance, in collaboration with Veterinary Surgeons to ensure best practice and efficient operation.


Key Duties

  • Adhere to the RCVS Code of professional conduct and ensure registration remains current.
  • Perform duties to the highest standard, aiding in efficient practice operations.
  • Assist Veterinary Surgeons in accordance with the professional code of conduct.
  • Guide nursing assistants and student veterinary nurses in all aspects of nursing care.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards within the practice.
  • Perform reception duties as needed, including client interaction during patient admission and discharge.
  • Conduct Nurse clinics and appointments, advising clients on pet healthcare.
  • Assist in stock control and ensure accurate patient records and medication supply.
  • Undertake at least 15 hours of CPD annually, keeping records for audit purposes.
  • Continuously reflect and improve on personal performance.


Package and Benefits

Paying up to £29,000 DOE
