This top domiciliary eye care provider is looking for a skilled Optometrist to become part of their vibrant team, offering unmatched job satisfaction, work-life balance, and exceptional financial rewards.

You will typically visit 6-7 patients a day in their homes or see up to 16 patients at a care home, with complete flexibility to conduct tests and manage your clinic without any commercial pressure.

Because of the supportive aspect of this position, we encourage applications from experienced Optometrists as well as those soon to qualify. Thorough onboarding training will be provided to help you acclimate to this role.

Key Duties

• Customize your service to cater to the individual needs of each patient, providing both sight tests and dispensing as necessary, with generous one-hour appointment slots.
• Choose between full-time or part-time employment, with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week and no weekend work.
• Utilize cutting-edge portable testing equipment and a user-friendly digital records system designed specifically for Optometrists.
• Clinic hours are from 9 am to 5:30 pm; however, be prepared to travel within a 50-mile radius, starting from home no earlier than 7:45 am and returning no later than 6:30 pm.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC Registered as an Optometrist
• Tier 2 visas may be available if you do not currently have right to work in the UK
• Full driving license (2 years ideal)
