An exceptional job opportunity has become available for an Optometrist to join a highly regarded independent practice in Clacton-on-Sea.

This exciting opportunity open to qualified, MECS accredited Optometrists of all levels of experience. Flexible working pattern available either on a full or part-time basis, alternating Saturdays.

Located in the beautiful Essex Coast, Clacton-on-Sea offers a perfect balance of work and lifestyle with its sunning beaches, scenic seaside promenade and vibrant town centre.

Join a reputable and established practice working as a sole tester alongside an experienced support team including experienced Optical Assistants.

This is a relaxed role where you are given time to spend with your patients and are particularly keen to hear from Optometrists who are passionate about exceptional eyecare over KPI's and targets.

From the initial consultation, through to choosing the right frame and lenses, the company have only one aim and that is to provide the best eye care for all the family.

Key Duties

  • Flexible full or part-time role (minimum 3 days required)
  • Days available from Monday-Friday + alternating Saturdays
  • General working hours from 9am to 5:30pm weekdays and finishing at 5pm on Saturdays
  • Prestigious Independent with highly-established patient following allowing a less sales driven, pressure free environment
  • Testing times of 35 minutes enabling high quality patient care
  • Family run Opticians

  • Experienced team already in place including Optical Assistants and Optometrists
  • Using a paperless patient management system

Package and Benefits

  • Very competitive salary depending on experience along-side a fantastic package between £65K - £70k FTE, depending on experience

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered with the GOC as an Optometrist
