Registered Veterinary Nurse

This practice is seeking a dedicated individual who leads by example, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is eager to join a positive and passionate team. This role requires at least 1 year of RVN experience.

They prioritize education and support within the team, offering regular EMS placements and serving as a veterinary nursing training practice. They value collaboration, ensuring a progressive and supportive learning environment for all team members. As part of this role, clinical coaching is a key responsibility, with full training provided if you are not yet a clinical coach.

Key Duties

Leadership & Team Collaboration: Lead by example, promoting a positive, passionate, and supportive environment. Foster strong communication within the team and collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance overall team performance.

Clinical Coaching: Provide clinical coaching to support the development of team members. Ensure that all colleagues are working within a progressive, supportive learning environment. Training will be provided if you are not yet a clinical coach.

Patient Care & Nursing Duties: Provide high-quality patient care, assisting with surgeries, anaesthesia, and general nursing duties. Ensure all clinical standards are maintained.

Professional Development & Education: Participate in regular EMS placements and support the training of student veterinary nurses. Contribute to ongoing personal and clinical development, attending quarterly reviews to focus on goals.

Package and Benefits

  • Salary package: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • CPD is strongly encouraged, with funding and support for certificate courses.
  • Professional fees for RCVS and VDS are covered.
  • 5.6 weeks of holiday, including bank holidays.
