Veterinary Surgeon Role, Gloucester

A fantastic new opportunity to join a thriving independent in the heart of Gloucestershire

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and forward-thinking independent who take pride in delivering outstanding care to their clients.

You will be joining a multi-vet, two-site practice where many staff have been for over a decade. We are looking for an enthusiastic vet to compliment the team on a full-time basis. The role could be well-suited to a new graduate, with an in-house GDP advisor to provide mentoring, but there is also large scope for an experienced vet to join the practice and thrive. With an independent working ethos, vets are encouraged to manage their own cases to allow for fantastic continuity.

You will see a varied, diverse and interesting caseload, with an opportunity to do surgery and consultations daily. Because of the large caseload, there is a chance to tailor a caseload to match a vet's interests. The role would suit someone with a surgical bias with the practice seeing an influx in surgical cases.

A successful applicant can expect to receive a salary of up to £60,000. To enjoy a work-life balance, you will receive an above average holiday allowance of 25 days, coupled with 8 bank holidays to give you a total of over 30 days off in total. You will also receive a generous CPD allowance to excellent career progression and development, as well as having your RCVS and VDS fees covered.
