This employer are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their small group of independent practices located in Hampshire. Their practices are renowned for prioritising teamwork and staff wellbeing, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where every team member feels valued and respected.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide comprehensive medical care to their loyal client base and their beloved pets, ensuring they receive the utmost respect and attention. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on preventive healthcare.

Key Duties

Package and Benefits

• 25 days plus bank holidays
• CPD £850, 5 days but certs etc. paid for additionally and actively encouraged.
• Rota 1 in 5 Saturday 8am - 3pm
• 4 day week (full time hours 39.5 inc. Saturdays)
• Break times /work up / call back times all protected.
• TOIL for any clinical work outside normal hours
• Cycle to work
• 1 additional day off on birthday
• Own pets treated at 75% fee discount, drugs at cost.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• RCVS Registered
• 2+ years experience in small animal practice
• Good team ethic
