Experienced or Newly Qualified Small Animal Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

A growing, independent first-opinion practice is seeking a dedicated and passionate nurse to join their friendly team. Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced nurse, we'd love to hear from you

Key Duties

Type: Small Animal Veterinary Nurse
Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible rota available.
Out of Hours: No out-of-hours shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• General nursing duties (consultations, surgeries, etc.)
• Assisting vets during procedures
• Offering excellent customer care
• Opportunity to train student nurses and develop your skills

Appointment Times: 15-minute slots
Support: You will work alongside two part-time experienced nurses, three VCAs, and locum support.

Training: Opportunities to further your skills, including becoming a Clinical Coach.
CPD: Open to supporting additional CPD if it's beneficial for you and the practice.
Holiday: Around 5 weeks per year, equated to hours.
Onsite Parking: Ample parking available for ease of commute.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

Experience: While experience is preferred, we are open to newly qualified nurses.
Type of Vet Nurse: Small Animal experience is essential.
Additional Support: The team includes 3 FTE vets and additional VCA support, with 2 receptionists available to help when needed.
