This opportunity offers great remuneration, low workload, flexibility, Support, fun and relaxed work environment, ideal for a modern day GP. Contract is in line with the BMA.

Job Summary

• Extremely friendly surgery in Medway looking for a GP to help provide a holistic and continuity of care
• 12 minute appointments
• Strong focus on workload management and due to the clinical and administrative set-up, do NOT expect ANY significant amounts of clinical admin to be done between clinical sessions. NO routine prescriptions and NO routine docman!!
• In addition there is very LOW VISITING burden
• Value the importance of flexibility and autonomy, and this is reflected in their facilitative approach to annual leave, study leave requests and some flexibility with the session timings to incorporate personal commitments such as childcare

Led by a charismatic, energetic, and visionary GP Partnership who can provide easily accessible support and mentorship and a wealth of system wide knowledge. In addition, they have a multidisciplinary clinical team which includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Physios, also supported by the Primary Care Network Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapy and Clinical Pharmacist Team. The Clinical team are supported by a well-led and trained administrative team whose sole focus is to minimise the administrative burdens on clinicians whilst optimising patient care.

This role requires the successful candidate to do no routine Docman, no routine blood Test results, and no routine repeat prescriptions

Key Duties

• 4-8 sessions
• Very reasonable workload:
• 12 minute appointments
• Regular team meetings
• Opportunity to pursue specialisms and take on additional roles
• Virtually no home visits for GPs

Package and Benefits

• £11,000 - £12,000 per session

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on NHS performers list
