Spine Sales Specialist London

Are you currently a surgical sales professional or a clinician with orthopaedic experience looking to work in the exciting world of spine? We are currently supporting one of our longest standing clients who are an immediately recognisable global Med-Tech and a business that is renowned for excellent products across a number of specialities.

As a Spine Sales Representative, you'll have the exciting opportunity to promote and sell cutting-edge spinal solutions, helping to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike. You will confidently conduct product evaluations in a variety of settings, including hospital theatres, where you'll demonstrate the value of our products and their impact on patient outcomes. By nurturing existing relationships with clients and actively seeking new opportunities within your territory, you'll play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding your customer base.

You will pick up established NHS & Private London Hospital accounts, looking to build on this success and establish new relationships with other hospitals.

You will take a strategic approach to track your territory's progress, consistently communicating your results and striving to exceed sales goals. Your in-depth product knowledge and ability to think on your feet will empower you to solve problems, offer valuable advice, and ensure proper use and maintenance of the products you represent. This is a dynamic role where your drive, expertise, and passion for sales will directly contribute to your success and the advancement of healthcare in your community.

Key Duties

  • Product Promotion and Sales: Promote and sell spine orthopedic products to surgeons, hospitals, and medical professionals, ensuring a deep understanding of product features and benefits to drive sales.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns related to product usage and performance.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct live product demonstrations in clinical settings, including hospital theatres, ensuring medical staff understand the correct use, advantages, and potential outcomes of the products.
  • New Business Development: Identify and target potential new clients within the assigned territory, expanding the customer base and increasing market penetration.
  • Product Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to surgeons, medical staff, and hospital representatives on the proper use, care, and maintenance of spine orthopedic product
  • Market Research and Territory Management: Track and monitor sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends in the assigned territory to adjust strategies and meet sales goals.
  • Collaborative Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, clinical support, and logistics, to ensure product availability, resolve any issues, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Post-Sales Support: Offer ongoing support after the sale, including follow-up visits, product troubleshooting, and feedback collection to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations with hospital procurement teams and decision-makers, assisting in contract terms, pricing, and terms of sale to ensure profitability and long-term partnerships.

Package and Benefits

  • Salary £42k basic to £63k basic depending on Experience
  • On target annual bonus of £28 - £34k - Uncapped and significant overachieve available - paid quarterly
  • Exec car or car allowance up to £650 pcm
  • Pension, medical Corporate package

Key Skills and Qualifications

What You Need:

  • Passion for orthopaedics and the surgical setting
  • Proven success in sales, ideally within the medical device industry (operating theatre or surgical sales experience preferred), or a solid background in Orthopaedics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-driven individual who takes full ownership and proactively engages with key clients and businesses within your territory.
  • A strong passion for success and the drive to win.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed financial targets with a proven sales track record.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment.
  • A valid driver's license..
