This is a well-established independent veterinary practice offering high-quality care to their loyal clients. They pride themselves on providing exceptional pet care, building strong, trusting relationships with both pets and owners. This modern practice is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a friendly and collaborative team.

Key Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

• Nurse consultations (nutrition advice, triage, chronic patient care)
• Assisting with surgeries, radiography, dental procedures, and anaesthesia
• Inpatient care, including medication administration, IV cannulation, and phlebotomy
• Updating clients on their pets' care and progress, including hospitalised patients
• Stock control and assisting in ordering supplies
• Supporting new team members and clinical coaching responsibilities
• Assisting with lab work and diagnostics (IDEXX blood and urine processing)

You will also enjoy a varied day, including:

• 30-minute ward rounds in the morning and afternoon
• Scheduled time for surgeries and procedures
• Structured client communication time to ensure detailed care discussions

Package and Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
• CPD allowance of £500 per year
• RCVS and VDS fees paid
