The ideal candidate will be capable of bridging the gap between the veterinary team and nursing team, playing a key role in improving communication and workflow. You will work closely with the veterinary team, assisting in the development of nursing skills and ensuring that nurses have the support and training they need to excel.
Key Duties
The role involves:
Team Leadership & Training: Guiding and mentoring a team of nurses, with a focus on developing their skills and progressing them towards becoming Schedule 3 nurses.
Collaborative Work: Acting as the point of contact between the vet and nursing teams, addressing concerns and promoting efficient communication to enhance the overall performance of the team.
Nurse Development: Supporting the veterinary team in fostering an environment where nurses can expand their skills and grow in their roles.
People Management: Demonstrating strong leadership qualities to manage and motivate a team, ensuring that all nurses are equipped with the knowledge and resources to succeed.
