• An independently run, family-owned opticians practice in Newark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensing Manager to join their team.

• The Dispensing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensing team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. This includes managing the dispensing process, liaising with customers, and providing expert advice on eyewear choices, including frames and lenses. The role also involves supervising and supporting the dispensing team to ensure they meet the practice's high standards of service.
• Salaries start at around £34,000 but increasing to £36,000 depending on experience with possible additional bonus earnings.
• The practice is open from 9am to 5pm Monday - Saturday with Sundays closed.

• 5 days a week available
• Practice Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday, 9am to 4.30pm Saturday
• Attending to the patients from walking in to choosing frames and lenses
• Help with the selection and fitting of glasses and often teach new wearers how to use and care for contact lenses
• Able to dispense at all levels
• General Management duties
• Busy practice with 2 clinics running everyday
• Assists the Optometrist with pre-tests
• Having a keen sense for customer service and fashion

• Base salary up to £36,000 depending on level of experience

• Must have at least 2 to 3 years' experience in Optics
• Must hold full right to work in the UK
