Exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon looking for a new role in Mansfield. Prospect Health are pleased to be working with one of the leading 1st opinion clinics in the area, who are looking to welcome someone who shares their passion for providing an excellent standard of care and the best outcome to their patients. Situated close to the M1 and A1, there are excellent transport links to Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln. Sherwood forest is right on the doorstep along with plenty of other outdoor spaces too.

The practice itself is a purpose built, stand-alone clinic with multiple large and spacious consult rooms and a fully kitted out ops theatre. There are all the usual toys including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, in house lab and much more, allowing you to work cases up thoroughly. What sets this practice apart is their team. Their 7-vet team are extremely supportive and welcoming, and the practice operates on a zero-tolerance for aggressive client's policy. They're proud to have a low staff turnover and many of their team have been with them for years. The vet team have various areas of clinical interest including surgery, medicine, ophthalmology and much more, so there will always be someone to turn to for advice on a tricky case.

This role is open to full or part time applicants, with full-time being 4-days a week, and 1 weekend a month (with TOIL). You'll enjoy 20-minute consults giving you enough time to offer your clients the care and attention they deserve, and longer for more complex cases. In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll be offered an industry leading salary up to £65k in recognition of prior experience, as well as the caseload and funding to progress down whichever clinical route you're interested in. Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• You must have the right to work in the UK
• You must be registered with the RCVS to practice in the UK
