Are you a Nottingham based Vet (or looking to move to the area) with 5+ years' experience in small animal work? Are you thinking about the next step in your career? Well look no further, an exciting head vet position has just become available within 10 minutes of the City Centre at a very well established independent but nationally recognised 1st opinion practice. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and experienced team of 5 vets, 7 nurses, a practice manager and friendly team of receptionists who together create a welcoming and supportive working environment.
The practice itself is a bright, modern and air-conditioned premises with 7 spacious consult rooms, 2 large ops theatre with facilities for complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and houses a range of fantastic equipment including digital X-ray, Ultrasound, In-House Laboratory and much more.
The successful applicant will help to drive the practice forward with the support of the practice clinical director whilst providing the highest level of care to your patients. In return you will benefit from an excellent work like balance with a 4-day week, no out-of-hours and 1-in-4 weekends (much shorter days). Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• You must have the right to work in the UK
• You must be registered with the RCVS to practice in the UK
• Ideally you will have 5+ years experience in small animal work
• Excellent communication
