Don't just take our word for it, the clinical director of the practice spent 6 years working as a vet in the UK before relocating to the island nearly 4 years ago… and hasn't looked back since! Bermuda is known for its long white beaches, year-round sunshine, outdoor lifestyle, British-American culture, and low taxation rates. So if you're tired of the fast paced life lifestyle of being a vet here in the UK, this one could be for you!

The practice is well established with a lovely loyal client base, making your day-to-day interactions a pleasure. 30 minute consultations as standard take all the stress out of the job meaning you have ample time to provide the best outcome to the patients that you see. The role will suit someone with an interest in medicine, but there will be plenty of surgical cases for you to get stuck into too, including orthopaedics if you wish.

The practice is a large purpose built site with lots of windows letting in lots of natural light and is equipped to a very high standard. In addition to all the usual toys such as digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab etc, the practice also has an on-site MRI scanner and orthopaedic surgical kit. This allows almost all cases to be dealt with thoroughly on-site without the need to refer elsewhere.

You will work alongside an experienced and dedicated team of vets and nurses who all love their jobs and love coming to work. Key Duties

• Opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years experience
• Excellent, well-established veterinary hospital on the island of Bermuda
• Friendly, experienced and supportive team of vets, nurses, animal care assistants, receptionists and practice management
• Excellent facilities including on-site MRI scanner
  4-day week
• On call rota (usually dealt with over the phone and always support if needed)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the UK working in a 1st opinion, hospital or referral setting
• An interest and further qualifications such as a certificate in small animal medicine would be advantageous but not essential
• You will be a hard-working, but friendly, approachable and compassionate person who enjoys building good relationships with clients and colleagues
• You must be registered with the RCVS or NAVLE
