Work within a well-structured and forward thinking Practice and become part of an organised multi disciplinary team. Working at this innovative surgery as Salaried GP you will manage acute presentations of patients whilst delivering the highest standards of care.

Strong emphasis on work-life balance and support for professional development and special interest areas provides for a strong foundation for high-quality place-based care. The practice fosters a strong ethos of mutual support with regular team meetings to discuss clinical cases alongside structured educational meetings.

Large multi disciplinary team with excellent administrative support. Low home visits. Modern, purpose built site with on-site parking.


Key Duties

Work autonomously within job plan as a Salaried GP includes both face to face and telephone consultations, home visits, checking and singing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries paperwork and correspondence whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the practice. Actioning share blood test results and incoming clinical documents.

Assessing health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Screening of patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients . Recording of clear consultation notes to agreed standards. Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing protocol where clinically appropriate.


Package and Benefits

  • Salary circa up to £11,000 per session, per annum. Depending on experience

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • MRCGP with licence to practice as a GP
  • Ideal candidate will have two years post training experience
  • GMC registered
  • Included on the NHS performers list
  • Full clean driving licence
