A rare, no weekends role has become available for an Optometrist to join a well-established independent Opticians covering two practices, Bridgwater.
You will work a midweek only, Monday-Friday role, in a reputable and established practice working as a sole tester alongside an experienced support team including qualified Dispensing Opticians.
This is a relaxed role where you are given time to spend with your patients and are particularly keen to hear from Optometrists who are passionate about exceptional eyecare over KPI's and targets.
From the initial consultation, through to choosing the right frame and lenses, the company have only one aim and that is to provide the best eye care for all the family.
Alongside no weekends the role is 9am-5pm working hours, offering a work-life balance in Optics that is truly hard to get.

Key Duties
- Flexible full or part-time role (minimum 3 days required)
- Days available from Monday-Friday - No weekends
- The practice has been established for over 30 years and has fast become one of the leading eye care and eyewear specialists in the area
- Prestigious Independent with highly-established patient following allowing a less sales driven, pressure free environment
- Testing times of 35 minutes enabling high quality patient care
- Family run Opticians
- They truly believe in running an opticians that builds close relationships with patients and staff to achieve a more long term goal
- Experienced team already in place including Dispensing Opticians, Optical Assistants and Optometrists
- Using a paperless patient management system

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
- Registered with the GOC as an Optometrist
