Supervising Optometrist

Experienced Supervising Optometrist Opportunity in Newport ,Wales. Up to 65K Salary

We are currently working with a well-established and reputable practice near Newport that are looking to add an experienced Optometrist to their team on a flexible full or part-time basis to continue their on-going success.

You will join an experienced and tenured team in a practice with low staff turnover and a phenomenal reputation in the area, where it is known as the opticians of choice.

The hours are fully flexible with options from 3-5 days which can be tailored to you, with option for weekend flexibility.

The practice itself is a highly-established and has close links with the community it serves, where they are regularly fully booked and receive referrals from happy patients for their friends/family to come and see them.

Additionally the practice continually invests in the latest equipment, with test rooms boasting OCT's, phoropters, Humphries Fields Machines alongside a fully paperless system.

With numerous options for both clinical and career progression, this is an excellent prospect for an Optometrist to join a successful practice in the next stage of it's growth.

Key Duties

  • Flexible days available from 3-5 days which are fully negotiable and flexible
  • General working hours of 9am-5:30pm
  • Modern and well-equipped clinical practice including OCT''s and fully paperless records
  • Offer wider clinical services including WECS & Cataracts amongst more
  • Working alongside an experienced and tenured team including multiple Dispensing Opticians

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully registered with the GOC as an Optometrist
  • Ideally I.P. qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification
  • Right to work in the UK
