Clinical Director position, Dewsbury

Are you a passionate and dedicated veterinarian seeking a leadership role in Dewsbury? Our client is looking for a Clinical Director to lead their team in providing exceptional care. With a salary of up to £95,000, flexible working hours and an opportunity to develop your career in a supportive environment.

Joining a small but dedicated team comprising an experienced full-time vet, an RVN, three ACAs, and three support staff members. Additionally, the Clinical Director will be assisted by an area director and area support manager, making the move into being Clinical Director at this practice seamless and giving you the necessary support.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a role that encompasses a mix of clinical and non-clinical duties. They will be responsible for mentoring colleagues, setting clinical and professional objectives, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. From conducting surgeries and consultations to guiding the strategic direction of the practice, this Clinical Director role has a rewarding mixture of both clinical and managerial duties.

The single-site practice boasts an array of equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental, and multiparameter machines, as well as an in-house Idexx laboratory. We are committed to investing in both our practice and our team, ensuring we remain at the forefront of veterinary care.


Key Duties

We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants, as the practice can offer flexibility to accommodate the right candidates. The typical full-time rota spans four days per week from 8 am to 6 pm, with no weekend, out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments.
