Orthopaedic Robotics Sales Specialist

To be considered, you must have sold capital equipment with a single ticket value in excess of £400k at C Suite level within the Hospital setting.

Key Duties

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth within the territory, focusing on high-value capital sales and orthopaedic robotics systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with implant teams, surgeons, and hospital management to advance the sales process, delivering cutting-edge technologies that is redefining orthopaedic procedure
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage both budgeted and off-budget sales processes while effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, theatre managers, procurement, and finance professionals.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients, fostering recurring sales opportunities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Create and refine lead generation plans to maintain a healthy pipeline and maximize sales potential.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on new product offerings and service enhancements, ensuring clients are informed about the latest innovations and pricing.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide consistent updates on key account activities, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows, congresses, and other relevant events to increase product visibility and promote brand awareness.
  • Clinical Support: Coordinate and participate in surgeon validation labs and product demonstrations to move surgeons to clinical validation stages.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and clinical support, to build and maintain successful robotics programs before and after product installation.

Package and Benefits

  • Salary - £70-£90k Annual Basic
  • On target earnings £40k per quarter but uncapped beyond with excellent overachieve

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales with a proven ability to close deals worth £400k+ in the healthcare sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the NHS or experience in a surgical theatre environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Results-Driven: A strong focus on achieving sales targets and key performance objectives, with a solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and leverage partnerships across teams, departments, and functions to drive success.
  • Ethical Standards: A commitment to achieving success with integrity, aligned with the company's vision to be the most admired healthcare company in the world.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of your work and deliver results with minimal supervision.
