Locum Vet Surgeon Job, Southampton

We are looking for an experienced Vet to cover an on-going locum role in Eastleigh, Southampton.

Initially for 1-2 months with the option to extend further, this role offers excellent day rates of up to £300 per day, flexibility to work 4-5 days per week and no weekends or OOH's commitments.

Experienced Vet needed to cover an on-going locum role to cover the following duties:

• Ideally a mixture of consulting and operating shifts but would consider consults only
• Unlikely to be sole charge, although desirable if you are comfortable with being SC if needed
• Shifts Mon-Friday doing either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days. Can be flexible if required
• No weekends or OOH's required
• Practice opening times usually between 8am - 7pm

Day Rate

Up to £300 per day (fully inclusive)

Length of Booking

1-2 months initially, with the option to extend

Days Required

Monday to Friday (4-5 days per week)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

The successful candidate will need:

• 1-2 years UK experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
• Your own VDS policy
• RCVS membership
