To aid you with this exceptional patient care, our client offers extended test times of 40 minutes as well as modern equipment e.g. OCT, phoropter and digital records.

The successful applicant will also notably be able to request more flexible Saturday working arrangements with the option potentially even to work mid week only if preferred!

Key Duties

• Delivering sight tests to a high level of precision within 40 minute appointment times. Pre screens will normally be provided on your behalf by support team but may be times some flexibility is required to pre screen yourself as well
• Have an enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop clinical skills operating in a relaxed patient focussed practice setting with full qualified Dispensing Optician support provided
• General working hours are 9:30-6:30Monday to Saturday with one hour lunch breaks. NB, The number of Saturdays required may potentially be negotiable to alternate Saturdays
• Be willing to operate as a sole Optometrist in the practice and willingness to offer some contact lens work is also required as this makes up roughly 20% of the role overall
• This role will require the successful applicant to work out of two beautiful boutique practices both within commutable distance of Lewes
