Veterinary practices have common requirements when looking for a new graduate vet and they will often have a set of common questions they will ask interviewees to ensure they are employing the right person for their practice.
We know that preparing for an interview can be hard and nerve wracking but we find that a few well structured responses will get you really far.
Talking about cases you have seen or times in your life where you have used skills that are important to the veterinarian seem to be a common theme so thinking of a few cases beforehand will help to stop your mind going blank on that big important day! We have a great competency interview guide you can use to help you prepare your cases and answers in more detail.
